Introducing "Snipper" - August, 2008
Snipper arrived at Epona's Pastures after having spent 18 years with his devoted owner. He has had many years of ARC and trail riding experience. After the last couple of years in the paddock and with little riding, Snipper's owner made the difficult decision to try and find a more stimulating home for him. When we met Snipper, we were only too happy to assist and believe it won't be long before this big handsome chestnut finds a suitable home where he can continue going out on pleasure rides and enjoy the company of some other equine friends.

We decided to head out on a bush ride over the weekend and thought it the perfect opportunity to get Snipper out and about. Lynda rode him, and although excited to be in the company of his equine friends once again, he was so well behaved and seemed to enjoy himself immensley ( as did Lynda! )
We think Snipper is a reliable pleasure riding horse with great spirit and look forward to taking him out again this coming weekend.

Snipper Is Adopted - September, 2008
No sooner had we placed the advert that Snipper was available for adoption before he found a wonderful permanent home. We had a huge response from people who wanted to give this boy a loving home. Snipper now lives with a family who have other horses for him to play with and he is much loved by their young daughter who rides him out on trails and in the occasional competition. Below are a couple of photos we have received of Snipper with his new family.
