Please send us an e-mail with a brief description of the type of horse you are searching for and we will do our utmost to find your perfect match. If we do not have anything that is suitable for you here at Epona's Pastures, we will notify you of other horses that may be of interest to you. Don't forget to check the "Horses In Our Care" page to see who will be ready for adoption soon.
We have introduced a flat rate for our adoption fee of $1200 unless otherwise specified.
Every horse is up to date with their teeth, vaccinations, worming and all our horses come with a two week money back guarantee trial period.
As all our horses are now being re-educated with the use of a bitless bridle, every horse that is adopted from Epona's Pastures will include a new Callisto Bitless Bridle (http://www.equinet.net.au/)
Epona's Pastures "Robbie" - Now Available For Adoption
"Robbie" has completed his assessment under saddle and is now ready for his forever home. This boy is gorgeous and a real gentleman to deal with.
Robbie is a 6yo STB who was surrendered to us by a loving family when he didn't make it on the track. We have found Robbie a pleasure to work with both on the ground and in the saddle. Robbie stands aprox 16hh with a stronger build.
During his time with us, Robbie has done countless trail rides, both in groups and out on his own. Robbie is not silly or easily spooked, he has no buck, bolt, rear or any other nasty habits. He is not a lazy horse and although he has a great temperament we would recommend Robbie for an intermediate rider and up as he likes to step out. Please note that Robbie does not currently have any 'flat work' education and his experience is only with trail riding. Robbie understands all the basic aids and will move off the leg when asked, he is a clean slate for someone to go on with.
Robbie has just had his teeth done, he has been vaccinated and is up to date on worming. Robbie was found to have a slight jaw alignment issue by the dentist, this does not affect him as a riding horse. He also has one front toe that he likes to point inwards when he walks, again this does not affect him as a riding horse but may affect judges perception of him in a show ring.
Robbie would be perfect for someone who is looking for a pleasure hack to have fun with or to take to PC/ARC. He will make someone a fantastic best friend.

Epona's Pastures Jasmine - 23 July, 2011
Jasmine has been with Epona's Pastures since January 2011. She retired from racing and we have worked tirelessly to prepare her for a new journey. Jasmine will make a beautiful riding friend. Not only does she enjoy the work, but she has a playful personality which wins people over.
Epona's Pastures Jasmine is bold and willing to try for you. She loves the bush and with further education would make someone a beautiful ARC companion. Jasmine has so much to offer her new human.
